Talent Strategies is recruiting a Dental Services Patient Representative in Bell Gardens, CA for a full-time front office opportunity within a community health dental clinic.
This Dental Front Office position is ideal for someone with dental office experience who enjoys working directly with patients, supporting clinic operations, and helping maintain an efficient and welcoming patient experience.
Dental Assistant experience is not required. Candidates with previous Dental Assistant experience are welcome to apply, but the primary focus of this position is dental front office and patient services.
Dental Services Patient Representative Requirements
Candidates should meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Dental office or dental clinic experience
- Front office and patient service experience within a dental setting
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Ability to communicate dental procedures and terminology in both English and Spanish
- Strong patient service and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume dental clinic
- Ability to support scheduling, patient flow, documentation, and day-to-day front office operations
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with diverse patient populations
- Reliable transportation
- Interest in stable, long-term employment within a community health dental program
Dental Assistant experience or completion of a Dental Assistant Program is preferred, but not required.
Experience with NextGen or another dental/healthcare electronic record system is also preferred.
About the Dental Front Office Position
The Dental Services Patient Representative supports the day-to-day front office operations of a busy community health dental clinic in Bell Gardens, California.
This position serves as an important point of contact for dental patients and helps ensure an organized, welcoming, and efficient experience throughout their visit.
The Dental Front Office team works closely with providers, Dental Assistants, clinical staff, and other team members to coordinate patient needs, maintain efficient clinic flow, and support access to dental services.
The clinic serves diverse patient populations, including children, families, seniors, Denti-Cal recipients, and individuals who may experience barriers to accessing dental care.
Dental Services Patient Representative Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist dental patients throughout the check-in and front office process
- Support patient registration and maintain accurate demographic and contact information
- Schedule and coordinate dental appointments
- Assist with appointment confirmations, recalls, and patient follow-up
- Communicate scheduling information and dental office procedures clearly to patients
- Help explain dental terminology and information in both English and Spanish
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support efficient patient flow between the dental front office and clinical teams
- Communicate with providers, Dental Assistants, and other dental staff regarding patient and scheduling needs
- Assist patients with questions and help resolve routine concerns
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
- Support referrals and other dental administrative processes as assigned
- Help maintain an organized and professional dental front office
- Provide respectful, patient-centered service to diverse and underserved populations
- Assist the dental team with administrative and operational needs throughout the day

Work Environment & Schedule
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:45 AM–5:00 PM
This position is based at a community health dental clinic in Bell Gardens, CA.
Occasional Saturday coverage may be required based on clinic scheduling and operational needs.
The Dental Services Patient Representative works onsite in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting diverse patient populations and collaborating closely with dental providers, clinical staff, and other front office team members.
Compensation
Pay: $23–$25/hour
Compensation is determined based on a combination of experience, qualifications, interview outcome, and the final decision between the client and candidate.
