Clinic Assistant – PACE Program

Community-Based Healthcare Program | Redondo Beach, CA

Location: Redondo Beach, CA

Schedule: Full Time | Monday – Friday

Day shift. Occasional flexibility may be required based on clinic operations.

Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate – $25/hour to $29/hour

Compensation is determined based on a combination of experience, certifications, interview outcome, and final decision between the client and candidate.

Requirements to Apply

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Experience working with older adults or medically complex populations preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical records preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Job Summary

We are seeking a Clinic Assistant to support the daily operations of a multidisciplinary healthcare center. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming participant experience while assisting clinical staff, coordinating participant flow, and supporting administrative and operational functions throughout the clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome participants and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
  • Escort participants throughout the clinic as needed
  • Assist clinical staff with participant flow and daily operations
  • Obtain and document vital signs as appropriate
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate participant services
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
  • Monitor clinic supplies and assist with inventory management
  • Support interdisciplinary team members with administrative and operational tasks
  • Provide excellent customer service to participants, caregivers, and visitors
