Dental Assistant (DA) Float – Bilingual Spanish

Primary Location: Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: Full Time Float Position
This is a float position supporting multiple clinic locations. Candidates must be flexible with travel and scheduling. May require need to cover Saturdays

Pay: $25.15 + mileage reimbursement

Compensation is determined based on a combination of experience, certifications, and interview outcome.

Position Locations – South LA / Southeast LA Coverage

  • Coverage Locations: Lynwood, Bell Gardens, Norwalk
  • Hours: Between 7:45 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts (varies within those hours)
  • Includes some Saturdays each month

Requirements to Apply

  • Bilingual English / Spanish required
  • Completion of a Dental Assistant Program
  • Experience working in a dental clinic setting
  • Must be comfortable working as a float across multiple locations
  • Interest in long-term employment and career growth in the dental field.

Certifications (as applicable):

  • Coronal Polish
  • Radiation Safety
  • Infection Control
  • CPR/BLS – must be current by start

We are seeking a Dental Assistant Float who is adaptable, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic environment supporting multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists using four-handed dentistry techniques
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
  • Take dental X-rays and intraoral images
  • Perform delegated procedures such as coronal polishing and impressions
  • Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols
  • Support patient flow and clinic efficiency
  • Travel between clinic sites as scheduled
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
