Location: Bell Gardens, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday (7:45am – 5pm) | Full Time
May require occasional travel between clinic locations based on operational needs and Saturday coverage.
Pay: $70,357 – annually
Compensation is determined based on a combination of experience, certifications, and interview outcome.
Requirements to Apply
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Minimum 4 years of dental office experience (front office, back office, or both)
- Bilingual: English & Spanish
- Strong understanding of dental clinic operations, workflow, and productivity management
- Experience supporting staff training, scheduling, and operational oversight
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to travel between clinic locations as needed
- Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- FQHC or Community Health Center experience preferred
- DA/RDA license preferred
- Experience with NexGen/EDR preferred
Job Summary
Talent Strategies is partnering with a respected community health organization providing dental services throughout Los Angeles County.
We are seeking a Dental Manager to oversee daily dental clinic operations and support administrative and auxiliary dental teams, including Dental Assistants and Dental Front Office staff.
This role works closely with dental leadership to ensure efficient clinic operations, strong patient experience outcomes, staff development, productivity management, and delivery of high-quality oral health services within a fast-paced community health environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily dental clinic operations and support clinic workflow efficiency
- Supervise and support Dental Front Office and Dental Assistant teams
- Monitor provider schedules, patient flow, productivity, and operational goals
- Support staff training and development related to dental operations, scheduling, and systems
- Assist with staffing schedules, coverage coordination, and time-off management
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and operational protocols
- Monitor patient scheduling, referrals, confirmations, recalls, and follow-up processes
- Assist with patient grievance resolution and customer service concerns
- Support dental quality improvement initiatives and operational audits
- Collaborate with dental leadership to improve clinic performance and patient outcomes
- Monitor operational reports, open encounters, productivity metrics, and workflow processes
- Coordinate supply ordering, facility maintenance requests, and operational support needs
- Foster a positive, team-oriented clinic culture and support staff accountability
- Participate in outreach and community engagement activities as needed
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of staff
